Principal’s Welcome

Our School Kaupapa

‘Proud & Passionate Leaders of Learning in the Heart of the Community’
‘Inā te tūkaha, te tū maia o ngā kaiarataki mātauranga kei waenganui, kei te manawa o te iwi kainga’

Welcome to our school website and thank you for taking the time to find out a bit about our wonderful school. Paparore School was first established at it’s original site in Te Paa A Parore in 1900. We are now on the third site adjacent to the recreational Lake Ngatu and only a 5 minute drive to Te Oneroa a Tohe [90 Mile Beach].

We have a very dedicated staff who show a genuine commitment to their work and the Paparore students. We are part of the local Manaiakalani Te Hiku Outreach cluster which is a digitally-based programme following the Learn-Create-Share kaupapa.

The kura is supported by a hardworking and skilful Board of Trustees (BOT) committed to developing a community focus that includes equity across the whanau and family activities and funding / promoting projects. Our attractive site has extensive grounds, playing surfaces / structures and environment that all add much to the daily life of the School.

Feel free to contact the office and make a time to come in to meet us if you are not already a member of our wider school community.

Ngā mihi mahana
